A client, developing and testing a new WEC device, required assistance in designing some components of the device. The most challenging factors of this projects were the underwater environment, high power and limited installation space.
New concepts were carefully designed in close collaboration with the client. Each design choice was based on manual or FEM calculation and detailed engineering. At the end of the project, each component was provided with a calculation report, 3D design files, shop floor drawings and a bill of materials for production
